The medical insurance invoice is an overview of a person’s insurance plan and the premiums that they must pay to the insurance company. Included on the invoice will be the company and client information as well as the type of plan the client is paying for. The invoice may also outline specific medical treatments or appointments that occurred during the billing period and that were ultimately covered by the plan. The client must pay the amount written on the invoice before or on the payment due date. Keeping up with payments is imperative so that the client (and any dependents) can continue to receive medical care while avoiding substantial hospital bills.
