The car rental invoice is used to collect payment for the leasing of a vehicle through a car rental company or car rental app. The rental rate is usually calculated in two ways; rate per day ($/day) in addition to the number of miles driven. Recently, rental car companies have been charging solely on a per-day basis with benefits such as insurance and features like GPS as an additional way to upsell features. The invoice is commonly paid at the beginning of the rental period with the vehicle required to be returned by the end date with a full tank of gas.
