The upholstery invoice is used to bill clients for the upholstering or repairing of any type of fabric that is applied to furniture and vehicle interiors. Upholsterers are often hired to reupholster furniture either to change the item’s style or to replace older or damaged material. This type of work can be quite costly for the client, and the price will vary depending on how many pieces of furniture they need to have serviced and the type of materials that are used. The upholsterer will usually charge for materials plus an hourly or flat rate for their time. Once the invoice has been delivered to the client, they will be expected to pay the entire billed amount by the indicated date.
