How to Make in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Word
Step 1 – Download in Adobe PDF (.pdf) and Microsoft Word (.doc).
Step 2 – Contact Info – Write the client’s contact information with phone number, and then enter your name and contact info to the right. Include the invoice number below.
Step 3 – Enter the type of hosting plan the client subscribes to, including its number, quantity, and price. Then write the total the service costs to the right.
Step 4 – Add any tax to the subtotal, and enter this amount in the total field. Below, include any information about how to pay the invoice and the due date.
How to Make in Microsoft Excel
Step 1 – Download in Microsoft Excel (.xls).
Step 2 – Heading – Enter your company’s name and its logo. Then enter your address and other contact information below. Complete the Ship To information if it differs from the other name/address/phone number. To the right, enter the invoice number, date, customer ID, and payment due date.
Step 3 – Description – Complete a separate entry for each type of service provided. E.g., BusinessPro Plan, WordPress hosting, etc. Include the price for each to the right.
Step 4 – Total – Add each figure in the right column to get the subtotal, then add any tax, shipping and handling, and discounts that apply to get the grand total.
Step 5 – Include any special instructions at the bottom left regarding how to make payments or related information.
